Working With Nonprofit Organizations
The Village on 13th
Build us H.O.P.E. is the outreach and development arm for Singleton Community Services. The founders have a history of advocacy on behalf of the homeless, disabled and mentally ill. It is an organization built on the dream that affordable housing is possible for everyone. Tiny House developers has collaborated with this charitable non-profit institution to bring to life the first tiny house community for homeless and disabled Veterans in Phoenix, Arizona. Each home is a mere 288 square feet, yet comes with all the essential features you need to feel comfortable in your own space.
Phase One of The Village on 13th or “V13” as we like to call it, is comprised of three homes along with community gardens and common space. It sits on just over seven thousand square feet of lot. Phase Two of the project will add four more tiny homes, for a total of seven houses in this pocket community for the Veterans.
